He said that dialogue with India is impossible now but the final decision has to be taken by Prime Minister Imran Khan. While addressing a press conference here on Thursday at Railways Headquarters, he lashed out at Modi-led Hindu nationalist Indian government for committing gross violations of human rights in occupied Kashmir and stated that Modi has set a worst example of fascism. He appreciated PM Imran Khan for highlighting the case of Kashmiris in an outstanding way at international level.
"We have a blood relationship with Kashmiris which cannot be separated easily." He said that he is going to Azad Kashmir on Saturday to address public gatherings there.
China is also standing in support of Kashmir and no one should make a mistake as Kashmir is not Bosnia or Palestine, he mentioned while terming the upcoming three months critical regarding the dispute. When asked about administrative issues in Pakistan, he added bureaucrats were afraid and were not working properly.
"I have already told the premier about the matter that has led to certain problems. Lands of billions of rupees have been cleared and 23 new train services have begun in Pakistan and all the credit goes to workers," the minister added. He further maintained that biometric attendance system was being introduced for railway employees. He said deficit of Pakistan Railways has been reduced by Rs 4 billion.
In response to a question, he said in the first week of September all the trains will be punctual because of the end of rainy season.
When asked, he said all the contract workers will be regularized. No decision will be taken against the workers. Workers and officers are the lifeline of Pakistan Railways. He said PC-1 of the ML-1 has been completed and its tender will be floated soon.
